We knit this version of the Minimalist Hat in Isager , a fingering-weight yarn that’s all about loopy texture. Spun with 100% alpaca, it’s got brilliant, flocculent curls and adds furry oomph to even simple stitch patterns.

US 3 (3.25mm) 16"/40cm circular needle and set of 5 double-points, or size to obtain gauge.
US 2 (2.75mm) 16"/40cm circular needle, or one size smaller than gauge needle.
5 locking markers, one in a different color to designate beginning of round.
Blunt darning needle to finish.
